# Share Bee Pro 2.1: Settings Now Save, llms.txt Arrives, and You Can Test Your GEO Readiness Live

Share Bee Pro 2.1 is out. It fixes the bug that stopped GEO settings from saving, adds files that help large language models (LLMs) read your site, and adds a live test that checks whether your site is ready for AI search.

### The bug fix: GEO settings now save

Some users clicked **Save Changes** on the AI & GEO tab and nothing happened, or WordPress returned a bare “0”. We traced it to several causes:

- **Save button outside the form:** the “Generate AI Sitemap Now” button was a form nested inside the settings form. Browsers close the outer form at that point, so the Save button ended up outside it and did nothing.
- **Redirect links erased:** saving any tab could wipe your Pretty Redirect links.
- **Sitemap button dead:** the button’s script never ran, because it looked for an element ID the button didn’t have.
- **Crawler checkbox unused:** the “block AI crawlers” checkbox wasn’t connected to anything.

Settings now save through a dedicated, secured handler that only writes the tab you are on. After saving, the plugin reads the value back from the database and shows a green confirmation, or a clear error if something failed.

### AI sitemap fixed for Google Search Console

The old `sitemap-ai.xml` used custom tags that Google’s sitemap parser rejects, so Search Console reported “Invalid XML tag” errors. It is now a standard sitemap that Google, Bing and AI crawlers can all read. The richer data (summaries, topics, language, Markdown links) moved to a separate file, `/ai-index.json`.

### LLM enhancements

- **`/llms.txt` and `/llms-full.txt`:** a curated map of your site for language models, built from your Verified Entity Profile and published content. `llms-full.txt` adds the full text of key pages.
- **Markdown page versions:** every eligible page is also available as clean Markdown, which is cheaper for AI systems to read than full HTML.
- **AI Crawler Access Manager:** allow or block 18 AI bots one by one. The “Recommended for GEO” preset keeps answer engines in (OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, PerplexityBot, Claude-SearchBot) and blocks training-only bots.
- **Richer schema:** WebSite, Article, breadcrumbs, FAQ, founders with roles, coordinates, opening hours and [contact](https://pingbooster.site/contact/) point. Auto mode avoids duplicating Yoast or Rank Math.
- **Per-page GEO box:** write a Key takeaways summary, FAQ and topics for each page, or exclude a page from AI files.
- **IndexNow:** notifies Bing and other participating engines when you publish or update.
- **Entity profile export/import:** move one Verified Entity Profile across sub-domains or client sites, while each site keeps its own URL and logo.

### GEO live test: check your readiness in seconds

The new **GEO Audit** tab gives you a 0–100 readiness score. Configuration checks run instantly. Click **Run live endpoint tests** and the plugin requests your own site to confirm that:

- `sitemap-ai.xml` is reachable and valid
- `llms.txt` is being served
- `robots.txt` isn’t blocking crawlers and lists your AI sitemap
- your entity schema appears exactly once on the home page, with no duplicates from other plugins
- your IndexNow key file is reachable

Each result comes with a plain-language fix. The audit also flags a physical `robots.txt` or `llms.txt` file overriding the generated one, and pages that lack a Key takeaways summary.

No tool can guarantee that AI systems will cite you. The audit measures what you control: crawl access, structured facts, clean machine-readable copies, and content that answers questions directly.

### How to update

1. Update to Share Bee Pro 2.1.3 and purge your cache.
2. Open **GEO Discovery** and apply the **Recommended for GEO** crawler preset.
3. Open **AI & GEO Optimization**, complete your Entity Profile (especially the sameAs links), and save.
4. Click **Generate AI Sitemap Now**, then resubmit `sitemap-ai.xml` in Search Console.
5. Open **GEO Audit** and run the live tests.
